Je n'ai jamais connu ficus plus bavard que celui qui, dans le hall de l'hôtel A***, garde l'entrée. Du coup,
j'ai assez peu dormi la nuit dernière.
Sur ma pile de gauche, deux pépites, oubliées ou perdues, rééditées.
Sur les notes de pochette du vinyl, c'est Leonard Feather qui s'y colle et nous dit que Lorez
Alexandria est (était, elle est morte en 2001) une femme de convictions ayant le courage de les exprimer.
Et de vanter son style, son phrasé et sa voix. Et d'ajouter, conclusion logique à laquelle je souscris
aisément, totalement :" votre discothèque a besoin de chaque disque de Lorez Alexandria."
Pour Hannibal, pas de notes mais, dès les premières mesures de cette oeuvre hors-norme, on comprend
très vite, pour rester dans une tonalité identique, que s'il vous a parfois semblé que votre discothèque
manquait d'air, s'étiolait et/ou pressentait sa mort prochaine (ce qui nous guette tous, notez bien), c'était
probablement que vous n'aviez pas encore "children of fire". Donc...
Empêchez votre discot' de mourir, achetez Hannibal ! et parlez à votre ficus, bande d'insomniaques !

So y'understand why I little slept last night.
On my left pile, two nuggets, forgotten or lost, reprinted.
The vinyl's liner notes are from Leonard Feather's hands and he tells us that Lorez Alexandria (she
died in 2001) "is a person of strong convictions and has the courage to express them." And to praise her style,
her phrasé and her voice. And to add, logical conclusion to which I subscribe easily, totally and completely:
"every Lorez Alexandria album would have a place in your library".
For Hannibal, no liner notes but, from the first measures of this exceptional work, you'll understand very
quickly, to stay tuned in an identical tonality, that if sometimes it seemed to you that your library lacked
air, bleached and/or sensed its next death (it threatens us all, please note), it was probably that you still
did not have " children of fire "? Therefore...
Prevent your lib' from dying, buy Hannibal! and talk to your ficus, you insomniacs !
