1. te souviens-tu de ta première émotion musicale ?
oui.

2. comment es-tu venu à la musique ?
à l'adolescence, j'écrivais beaucoup, mais je crois que cela ne suffisait pas. j'avais besoin "d'autre chose". j'écoutais déjà beaucoup de musique, j'en suis venu très naturellement à apprendre à jouer de la guitare, et ensuite, à composer, écrire. j'avais (et j'ai toujours) plein de cahiers remplis de textes et de musique. je pense que l'élément déclencheur ça a été une difficulté à trouver ma place dans ce monde autrement que par la musique.

3.peux tu nous en dire un peu sur tes influences et tes goûts en matière de musique ?
mes influences sont très variées, et très nombreuses. je pense que les principales sont les expériences que je vis, et ma fascination pour la nature, l'automne, l'isolement, le silence...
mais je suis aussi influencé par ce que j'écoute (inconsciemment ou non), par certains films, par des poèmes...
mes goûts aussi sont très variés. le critère premier étant la qualité, cela va du rock (au sens très large), à la folk, en passant par le métal (black essentiellement, un peu de thrash), l'expérimental, le drone, la musique classique (surtout 19e et début 20e), le post-hardcore, le screamo, le hiphop, la coldwave, le post-rock, l'electronica, la "chanson"....
je ne ferais pas de listes de groupes ou d'artistes, ce serait trop long
4. as tu un 'disque de chevet', le genre que tu écoutes encore et encore ?
très très dur de n'en citer qu'un...
c'est par périodes. je vais être focalisé (voire obsédé) par un artiste ou un album pendant quelques temps. puis ça change.
en ce moment, j'écoute beaucoup xasthur et debussy (les pièces pour piano seul).

1. do you remember your first musical emotion ?
Yes.

2. how did you first get involved in music ?
In my teens, I used to write a lot, but it wasn't enough I think, I needed "something else". I was already listening to much music and naturally I came to learn how to play guitar and then to compose and write. I had (and still have) many notebooks full of texts and music. I think the catalyst was the difficulty for me to find my place in this world other than by music

3. could you tell us a bit about your influences and musical tastes ?
My influences are very wide and varied. I think the main are the experiences that I have, and my fascination for nature, autumn, isolation, silence... but I'm also influenced by the music I'm listening to (unconsciously or not), movies, poems...
My tastes are very diverse too. The first criterion being quality, it goes from rock (in the broadest sense of term) to folk, through metal (black metal basically with a bit of thrash), experimental, drone, classical (particularly 19th and early 20th), post hardcore, screamo, hip hop, coldwave, post-rock, electronica, and "songs"... I'm not going to name bands or artists, the list would be too long.
4. do you have a 'bedside record', sort of the one you're never tired to listen again and again ?
it's very very hard to be limited to one... it's cyclic. I can be focused (if not obsessed with) on an artist or an album for a while and, then, I change. Currently, I'm listening to Xasthur and Debussy (pieces for piano) a lot.
