Y'a une chanson de Nick Cave qui finit comme que...
je veux dire quand, à l'arrêt de bus, j'ai dit que j'avais jamais écouté une chanson de U2 de ma vie...
enfin c'est vrai si l'on considère la période des années 90 et celle du siècle nouveau ou
millénaire naissant...pas si l'on fixe la période sur 1980-1989.
Tout ça parce que l'gars à l'arrêt d'bus m'a demandé ce que j'écoutais sur mon lecteur moupett
comme j'y ai dit Adrian Borland - the amsterdam tapes il m'a dit "hé je viens de Hollande
moi même mais je ne vois pas quel genre de musique ça peut être Adrian Borland". Même en lui
citant The sound, Jeopardy, lionsmouth...ça lui disait toujours rien, j'y ai fait écouter "fast blue world"
(cf sothewindblogradio) et c'est là qu'il a fait "oh ! ça ressemble un peu à U2 non ?"
Ouais sauf que chez U2 la couleur n'aurait pas été bleue mais rouge ou blanc. A la rigueur jaune.

I mean, at the bus stop, I told the guy in all my life I never listened to a U2 song.
Well, if you consider the 90's, this new century or this dawning millenary, there's some
truth in the assertion...but considering the eighties, you can't say it that way.
I'm telling you this because of this man at the bus stop. He asked me about what I was
listening in my muppet three player. "er..Adrian Borland, the amsterdam tapes", I said.
"Hey, he replied, I'm coming from Netherlands but I can't imagine how this music can be"
Even if I told him the sound, Jeopardy, Lionsmouth ! So I made him listen to AB in "fast blue
world" (see sothewindblogradio)..."Oh it sounds a bit like U2 nah ?" he nearly screamed.
...er..yep...but if U2 sang this song, the colour would be red or white, maybe yellow. Blue
never.
