let all come down
1979 (released in 1986)

"Mud Slide Slim and the blue horizon". James Taylor.

Friedrich ?
Nietzsche, quoi
Qui était un sacré moustachu.

In view of topic N°75 of Contrast Podcast (meow - the artists with moustache), it would have been simpler to illustrate with Monochrome Set and "the man with the black moustache" but my crooked mind brought me back on an ancient lane (as mono.set I mean) and as weird as it (there, it is my weary mind). "Mud Slide Slim and the blue horizon". James Taylor. Where the guy Taylor, quite proud, poses in braces, blue shirt and mustaches. Record that a certain Caroline gave me in 1979 because of the presence, of course, of " you' ve got a friend ". With years passing by, can't bear her a grudge, aforementioned Caro, in those times or in surroundings, she had too much listened, and in a continuous loop, to Al Stewart's "year of the cat" or Gerry Rafferty with I don't know any more what, seen that, ô joy of the old age, I forgot the name of the street.(Need to be honest here : it was better than a best of.) It is a rec' that I must have listened to five times and, last time was: 1980. The fact remains: I have this rec' and the fact remains that, every now and then, rummaging around in my recs' collection, I sometimes stumble across and fall on it. As saturday morning. When this arrives, I exorcise by an exercise : listening to Troggs while I reread some lines from another one with a moustache, Lester B., "James Taylor marked to death"

But, as words come to me, I realize that Paolo Conte well... yep... I would have been able to make a better choice like a Friedrich's piano piece, for instance. Friedrich? Friedrich who ?
Nietzsche, who else!
Who had a damn moustache.
