Sans doute,
il avait envie de me raconter sa vie mais je n'étais pas sûr de vouloir
l'entendre.Alors je l'ai juste écouté. Distraitement. A l'arrêt de bus.
Sa voix et son débit m'ont fait penser à cette chanson de Quintin Nadig
"I swan (suffer me)", où les voix et un erratique piano en apesanteur
découpent l'air et l'emportent sur le silence. En l'écoutant, je pensais
à hier soir où après avoir posté mon billet journalier, j'ai traîné du côté
du blog Yer bird et j'y ai fait la découverte d'un artiste remarquable
Andrew Bryant qui, début juin, publiait "the magnolia state", son deuxième
album et préparait le suivant "Bad man blues"... J'ai tout commandé.
Après avoir ajouté à ma vie cinquante deux années de la sienne, je suis rentré et j'ai écouté les "Kitchen tapes"...

Undoubtedly,
he wanted to relate me the story of his life but, I wasn't sure to want to hear
it. Then I just listened to him. Absently. At the bus stop. His voice and its
flow made me think of this song of Quintin Nadig "I swan (suffer me)" where the
voices and an erratic piano in weightlessness cut out the air and override the silence.
By listening to him, I thought of yesterday evening where after having written my
daily post I trailed sides of the blog "Yer bird" and I made there the discovery of
a remarkable artist Andrew Bryant who, at the beginning of June, released "the magnolia
state", his second album and he prepares the following one, "Bad man blues"... I ordered
everything.
After having added his fifty two years story to my life, I returned home and I listened to the "Kitchen tapes"...
