C'est une scène impossible. Pourtant.
C'est bien ce livre - "Good housekeeping cookery book" - qu'elle avait cet après-midi dans son
sac plastique à l'effigie de notre bonne vieille librairie, la dame d'une quarantaine d'années.
Anglaise en vacances. A l'arrêt de bus. J'avais reçu le matin même l'EP sept titres d'Artichoke
Heart Soufflé, un frère et une soeur qui m'avaient donné l'envie furieusement nostalgique de
ré-écouter Marine Girls, Trixie's big red motorbike et cet après midi, ce "Cookerybook" me lança
dans les rayonnages de ma discothèque à la recherche d'Helen and the Horns...

plastic bag with the effigy of our good old bookshop, this forty years woman. An English lady on
holiday. At the bus stop. I had received in the morning the 7 tracks EP from Artichoke Heart
Soufflé, a brother and a sister who had given me the furiously nostalgic desire to re-listen to
Marine Girls, Trixie's big red motorbike and, this afternoon, that word "cookerybook" made me
rush in the shelves of my discotheque in search of Helen and the Horns...
