Ces temps ci, j'ai lu, ici et là, des articles à propos de Scott Walker, (exemple : là)
aussi me semblait il tout indiqué, à ce moment là, de proposer Montague terrace. Or,lundi
après midi, vers les cinq heures et quart, tu m'as fait écouter ce Bill Fay dont tu venais
de recevoir, le matin même, les disques. Un autre choix s'est alors imposé d'autant que, dans le livret
accompagnant le cd, on peut lire que Terry Noon (batteur de Gene Vincent, Them..), impressionné par les
démos, obtint de lui faire signer un contrat chez Decca. Terry Noon s'occupait aussi d' Honeybus (Pete Dello).
As I read here and there about Scott Walker and 4ad (here) Scott Walker and Pulp, Montague terrace would be a good choice I think...but, on monday afternoon, you played me that first self titled album from Bill Fay, and when I read in the cd booklet that he obtained a contract with Decca with Terry Noon's help, it became obvious I must choose a track from there. Terry Noon also managed Pete Dello's Honeybus.
