Encore un. Couple. Et ce n'est pas vraiment accidentel dans la mesure où il
s'agit de la couverture du dvd que j'ai choisi de regarder. Que je savais
que le jeune homme et LA jeune femme qu'il rencontre s'y trouvaient. Outre
qu'il s'agit d'une comédie plus que plaisante, dont l'action se déroule dans
les environs de Louisville, Kentucky (d'où sont originaires et Jamie Barnes,
et My Morning Jacket), elle fournit l'alibi d'une bande-son parfaite. Qui tient
la route. Si je puis dire. Même si, à un carrefour, et, chaque fois, je me fais
avoir, on entend Tom Petty, une poignée de secondes.
A chaque fois, je me dis "hé pas mal ce truc" j'ai une cassette de ça. Rouge et
lettres blanches. Achetée sur un mal-lu : heartbreakers. A chaque fois, donc je
la ressors du tiroir-purgatoire où elle se trouve rangée. Je l'écoute et Damn the
torpedoes ! puisque, très vite, je me retrouve à écouter Chris Rea. Tout y passe.
On the beach, Blue Café, Tennis, Best of et very best of avant de poursuivre mon
chemin, assez logiquement, sur la route de l'Enfer. Puisque nous nous y retrouverons,
tous, à la fin. D'ici là... ..creuse !

Another one. Couple, I mean. And it is not really fortuitous as it is the
cover of the dvd I chose to watch. I knew that "the boy meets The Girl"
were on it when I made my choice. Besides the fact that it is a very pleasant
comedy, whose action takes place in and around Louisville, Kentucky (land of
Jamie Barnes and My Morning Jacket), it provides an excellent excuse for a perfect
soundtrack. Who holds the road. If I may say so. Although at a crossroads, and each
time I'm caught, Tom Petty's heard a few seconds.
Everytime, I tell myself "not bad hey" I've got a tape of that. Red and white letters.
Purchased on a misread: heartbreakers. Everytime, therefore I take it out again from
the drawer-purgatory where it is lined up. I listen to it and Damn the torpedoes!
because, very quickly, I find myself listening to Chris Rea. Yes ! Almost everything.
On the beach, Blue Café, Tennis, Best of and very best of, before continuing, rather
logically, my journey on the road to Hell. Since we shall meet there, all, at the end.
