Ma coiffeuse a des goûts musicaux très pointus.
J'adore aller chez elle. Surtout, j'adore être la première personne qu'elle coiffe. Sentir
ses mains un peu fraîches tiédir au fur et à mesure de la coupe. C'est pourquoi, en général, je
prends mes rendez-vous le matin très tôt, à l'ouverture de son salon. Cette fois, ça n'a pu
se faire et suis arrivé un peu en avance. En attendant mon tour, ai aperçu posé sur la table un numéro
ancien d'une revue musicalement différente (à l'époque), bleu, avec Bjork sur la couverture et une
interview de Townes Van Zandt à l'intérieur. Que j'ai lue. Dans cette interview, le regretté troubadour,
dans un sourire, contait, sous forme d'un conseil, une anecdote : quand des jeunes lui disaient qu'ils
aimeraient eux aussi chanter le folk, il leur répondait : "eh bien abandonnez tout sauf votre guitare.
Votre argent, votre copine, votre carrière, votre famille et votre réputation peuvent dégager par la fenêtre."
Après avoir écouté "Grace & Speed", l'album de Vandaveer, j'ajouterais n'abandonnez pas davantage
votre vie parce qu'un cadavre, même s'il en connait un rayon sur la mort et la rédemption, c'est sûr, ça
chante moins bien. Et Mark Charles Heidinger, s'il est une apparition, n'en demeure pas moins un très
vivant chanteur folk.

My hairdresser, a young woman, has very accurate musical tastes. I adore to go in her salon. Especially,
I adore being the first person of whom she's done the hair. To feel her little fresh hands progressively warming
as the cut goes on. This is why, in general, I take my rendez-vous, early in the morning, at the opening of her
