Mercredi. Tout a commencé au moment où les cloches de l'église toute proche ont sonné la demie de trois heures.

S'il n'était tombé de soudaines trombes d'eau, je ne serais pas entré dans ce bar. Si n' y étais pas entré, en ce début d'après-midi là, jamais n'aurais remarqué le piano qui s'y trouvait car le type n'en joue que lorsqu'il est sûr d'être absolument seul et visiblement je venais de le déranger dans cette activité. Il s'arrêta. Net.

Le lendemain, j'y passais en soirée. Il y avait trop de monde. Impossible de voir le piano qui semblait avoir disparu. Derrière le bar, le pianiste de l'après-midi distribuait demis, cocktails et autres boissons à une jeunesse assoiffée, à des assoiffés plus aussi jeunes ainsi qu'à des imbibés sans âge.

Le surlendemain, j'y passe dans l'après-midi. Les cloches de l'église sonnaient. Le piano avait bel et bien disparu.

Wednesday. It started when the bells of the nearby church rang the half past three. If it hadn't rained sudden cloudbursts, I wouldn't have entered this bar. If I hadn't entered there, on that afternoon, never I would have noticed the piano because the guy plays only when sure to be absolutely alone and obviously I had just disturbed him in this activity. He stopped. Dead.

The following day, I passed there in the evening. Too many people were in. Impossible to see the piano which seemed to have disappeared. Behind the bar, the afternoon pianist filled glasses with beer, cocktails and other beverages. At tables, young and not so young thirsty dogs drank them up. As did some soaked-to-the-bones no-age people.

Two days later, in the afternoon, I'm around the place. The church bells are ringing. The piano indeed had disappeared.
