the dead of summer
Elles étaient trois amies et, si me souviens bien, se prénommaient
Anne, Catherine et Elizabeth. C'était en classe de cinquième. Anne
avait une tête et demie de plus que ses deux comparses. Elizabeth
tenait au "z" de son prénom. Catherine était des trois la plus timide.
C'est en fin d'année scolaire, lors de la fête finale, qu'elles se
distinguèrent dans un numéro de ventriloquisme stupéfiant. Anne était
la ventriloque, Elizabeth sa "marionnette", Catherine se tenait derrière
le rideau et doublait la voix d'Elizabeth.
Moi ?
J'étais censé être la "claque" au cas où...mais au cas où ne s'est pas
présenté aussi ai-je, comme toutes les personnes présentes en cette fin
d'après-midi, applaudi à tout rompre.
Donner sa voix à une autre c'était un peu ce que faisait Anita Ellis qui a été la "voix chantée" de Rita Hayworth dans Gilda...
Peut on considérer comme un clin d'oeil l'emprunt que je lui fais dans l'introduction de ma participation au vingt cinquième contrast podcast ?

Catherine and Elizabeth. It was in second form. Anne stood head and shoulders
over her two associates. Elizabeth prized the "Z" of her first
name. Catherine was, of three, shy the most. At the end of the school year,
during the final festival, they were distinguished in an awesome ventriloquism
number. Anne played the ventriloque, Elizabeth her "puppet", Catherine was
behind the curtain and dubbed Elizabeth's voice.
Me ?
I was supposed to be the claque if... but if did not come so with
all the people present in this ending afternoon, we brought the house down .
To give her voice to another, it was something Anita Ellis did many times. She was Rita Hayworth's "singing voice" in Gilda...
Can we call it a wink the small music part I borrow from her track in the introduction of my participation to contrast podcast n°25 ?
