Quand le monde s'écroule... enfin pas vraiment le monde - plutôt cette parcelle infime de lui qui est nous. Une obscurité s'installe qui rend l'absence de lumière plus intense. Une obscurité qui remplit les couloirs désertés de notre âme. Une obscurité dessus, dessous et en dedans. Qui fait obstacle à toute lumière. Qui la force à prendre d'autres chemins. Plus longs. Plus escarpés. Loin de s'épuiser, la lumière, à force de contacts rugueux, au contraire s'aiguise et s'aiguisant, finit par percer un trou minuscule au travers duquel elle irradie. La musique et les mots d'Others Desert Cities passent par ce trou...

When the world finally collapses... not really the world - rather this negligible piece of it being us. A darkness settles down and makes the absence of light more intense. A darkness which fills the deserted corridors of our heart and soul. A darkness above, below and within. Which stands in the way of any light. Pushes it to take other ways. Longer. Steeper. Deeper. Far from becoming exhausted, the light, on the contrary, through rough contacts, is sharpened and being sharpened, ends up drilling a tiny hole, an eye, and through this tiny hole, this eye, the light radiates.
